Social Dynamics Part 1

The natural tendencies of human nature consist of certain attributes that define individual identity. The haunting existential question of ‘Who am I’ is the most powerful driving force of personal development. So many of our thoughts, ambitions, and passions are substantially influenced by the pursuit of self-aggrandizement. The nuances of our personalities are the accumulations of desires and envies secured by the progression of our human interactions. The actual stigma of personal identity is never a pure self-realization, and all of which that we call our own are nothing but mere gradual reflections of accumulated admirations. Each person entering the social dynamics bring with them a façade, the conglomerations of filtered perceptions of social trends and figures that we hope to present. This concept, I will call social persona.
The essence of discrimination, whether based on behavior, aesthetics, or ingrained preconceptions of bias, is compelled by the so-called ‘social filtering’ of others. People dictate their judgments of others by the deconstruction an individual’s social persona introduced during a social dynamic. This reciprocal of human impressions defines the selection of who we consider our friends.
